Coaching Philosophy:
My coaching philosophy is that it is equally important to coach the athlete and the individual. Since I have often coached children, I have found that the best results come from an environment that builds their confidence and self esteem while also pushing them to learn new skills. The best athletes are the ones who believe in themselves and have a coach who believes in them more, and this is how I choose to approach coaching positions.

What I like to do in my free time:
I really enjoy crocheting in my free time because I have always been a creative person, and I enjoy feeling productive with my hobby. It has also been a way for me to connect with others because I have joined the crochet club on my college campus, and I have taught several of my other teammates how to crochet. Another thing I enjoy doing is exploring the city because I am from Kentucky; I’m still getting to know all of the different boroughs, and I love feeling more familiar with New York with every outing.
My favorite volleyball memory:
My favorite volleyball memory was my senior night in high school. After playing my last home game, I was given a basket full of letters from all of my teammates on varsity and the underclassmen on the JV and Freshman teams. I am a very sentimental person, so I have kept all of their words close to my heart. Those letters remind me of the amazing community I was able to be a member of in that season, and a part of me will always try to create that sense of community on every team I’m a part of.
